Once your Flowers have been received, a Designer will disassemble your bouquet, pretreat and dry each flower individually. Flowers and foliage are then sprayed with a special sealer to help protect from fading and re-absorbing moisture.
* Most preservation companies will replace all foliage with silk. But, we at Lasting Keepsakes believe that your foliage is an important part of your bouquet and have developed a technique that will allow foliage to dry and maintain it's natural color and shape.
We will design and professionally frame your keepsake to your specifications. You may also include any special memento (i.e.: Photo, Invitation, Garter, Boutonniere, etc.)with no extra charge.
Your Keepsake is sealed, using all custom framing materials to protect them from moisture and outside air. We use only acid free materials in our framing process. All flowers will become darker during the drying process. Pinks deepen or turn mauve, peach to pinker tones, red to burgundy. White flowers will vary from cream to light yellow. We do not paint our flowers, there is no need because we process your flowers the day you give them to us.
If you decide to have your flowers preserved, let your florist know and ask that they be as fresh as possible.
To ensure that your flowers maintain a fresh and natural look, they must be picked up as soon as possible. Please call to schedule a date and pickup time. Lasting Keepsakes will display your flowers using their best judgment within your selections. We give you the option to help design your keepsake. We have over 500 frames, styles, and sizes to choose from. So, we are sure to have something for everyone. You will receive your keepsake 4 to 6 weeks when your final payment is made. PLEASE NOTE---There will be a $25 per month service fee added to your account after 90 days of inactivity.
**Your Chapel takes no responsibility for your Bouquet. You must contact Lasting Keepsakes for all arrangements. If Keepsake is damaged during shipping, you must notify Lasting Keepsakes within 24 hours. Keep all packing materials. Liability is limited to 100% Flowers/Keepsakes cost paid(less shipping and handling) upon authorized return.
