Flower care is essential for how your preserved flowers look in your Lasting Keepsake. Here are some tips that will help you and your flowers make it through a long day.


Tip: If you know that you want to have your flowers preserved let your florist know. Your flowers need to be as fresh as possible. If your florist has any questions, we would love to help.

 
Hand-tied Bouquets:

          Hand-tied bouquets most often do not have a water source. To keep your flowers from wilting, make sure you have a vase with some water to set your bouquet in.  Tip*Most florists will be more than happy to supply that for you or at your reception site.Just place your stems in the water. If your ribbon gets wet, it is ok, we can clean it!

 Cascade Bouquets:

            Cascade bouquets have a water source. It is in a oasis holder. Tip* When you get to the reception site have someone take your bouquet and put some water in the holder. Do not put water directly on the flowers, it will make them change color.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT FREEZE THE BOUQUET> Do not place in the freezer or a refrigerator that is too cold. Do not spray with water. Do not put bouquet in the sun or a hot car.

Flowers will bruise if crushed. This happens when flowers are rubbed and crushed. It will leave creases in your flowers that turn brown.Tip* If you would like flowers that are in better condition put your bouquet at your head table when you welcome all your well wishers.

If you are also wanting to preserve your new husband/partner boutonniere, we recommend:
1. Have two boutonnieres made(one to preserve and one to wear)or
2. Before its time to greet and meet, have someone remove the boutonniere and put it somewhere safe.
If something does happen, we can replace and recreate the boutonniere.

Make sure you set up a time for your bouquet to be picked up *REMEMBER* In the Las Vegas area, we have FREE PICK-UP OF YOUR BOUQUET. We also serve Nationwide. For our customers not getting married in Las Vegas, we have a special care package for your flowers.Your flowers will be shipped to us within 24 hours. For this option, you will need to contact us at least two weeks before your wedding so that we may get the package to you on time. If later than two weeks, see printable instructions.
